Privacy Policy

This policy explains what GrowDukan ("we") collects, why, and the choices you have. We follow India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act). We collect only what we need to run the app.

What we collect

• Your mobile number, verified by one-time password through Google Firebase, to create your account and log you in.
• Business details you enter: shop name, category, city, items, phone, website, description and language.
• Google Business Profile data, only after you connect Google: your profile details, reviews, reply status and performance numbers (views, calls, direction requests, website clicks). We store an access token to act on your behalf; it is encrypted.
• Photos you upload for posters, and the posters we create.
• Customer names and phone numbers you add to request reviews. You are responsible for having their permission; we use them only to show in your list.
• Activity log of actions taken in your account, so you can see what happened and when.

How we use it

• To create posts and posters, draft review replies, and publish them to your Google profile when you approve (or when you switch on Auto mode).
• To show your GrowScore and statistics.
• We do not sell your data, show ads, or use your data for anything unrelated to the app.

Who processes it

Our servers are run by our web hosting provider. We use Google (Firebase login, Business Profile APIs) and, to write text, an AI provider (Google Gemini or Anthropic Claude). Only the text needed for the task (for example a review and your shop name) is sent to the AI provider.

Google user data

GrowDukan's use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use the business.manage permission only to read your profile, reviews and statistics and to post replies and updates you approve.

Your rights

• See and correct your business details in the app at any time.
• Disconnect Google from Settings; we revoke our access immediately.
• Delete your account from Settings → Delete account. Your account, business data, customers, posts, posters and tokens are deleted right away.
• Raise a grievance with us (below). If not resolved, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.

Retention

We keep your data while your account is active and delete it when you delete your account. Server logs are kept for up to 30 days for security.

Children

GrowDukan is for business owners aged 18 or above.
